The San Antonio Craft Mafia was 'made' April 2006
The San Antonio Craft Mafia aspires to be a home for independent crafters, fellow DIYers and artistic people who want to learn and/or share knowledge of crafts such as assemblage, collage, jewelry, knitting, reconstructing, and sewing...just to name a few.
We draw inspiration from the Austin Craft Mafia a group of nine artistic women who came together to support each other in their craft businesses. The idea was a hit, and more than 30 craft mafias have formed across the United States and beyond.
As of now, our group consists of several independent crafters/artists with their own businesses who have united to support the entrepreneurial spirit in the following media: assemeblage, collage, painting, photography, jewelry, clothing, accessories and home decor.
